Solar Loss Control Considerations
Solar energy is playing an increasingly central role in managing surging energy demand. But as the solar footprint expands across increasingly diverse geographies, so does its exposure to risk. Climate-driven severe weather events are pushing risk zones into new territory, making the resilience and long-term performance of solar assets more critical than ever to grid reliability. How projects are designed and equipped to withstand high winds, flooding, hail, and wildfire can mean the difference between a productive asset and a costly liability.
In this webinar, AEGIS Loss Control professionals will discuss how advanced tracking systems and smart site design strategies — from wind and hail mitigation to terrain adaptability and intelligent tracking technology — are helping the solar industry build a more durable, reliable energy future.
Who Should Attend
This webinar is designed for risk and insurance professionals, project developers, facility managers, and operations and maintenance specialists tasked with optimizing photovoltaic system performance and structural integrity in complex environments.
What is Covered
This webinar will outline practical approaches to lowering natural-hazard risks for solar tracking systems, reducing failures, and strengthening overall performance and reliability. It will also explore how operational methods and design choices influence exposure to wind, hail, and wildfire damage. Attendees will gain actionable insights into site-specific risk assessment, the role of intelligent tracking technology in dynamic weather response, and best practices for terrain-adaptive design.

Claims Roundtable: Managing and Defending Serious Gas, Electric and Auto Incidents
Gas, electric and auto incidents, though often caused by third parties or improperly trained contractors, pose significant financial and reputational risks for utilities. These events, which may involve fatalities, serious injuries and extensive property damage, require thorough and prompt management due to the complex legal and technical issues that arise and the involvement of multiple stakeholders.
Our panel of speakers will discuss their own experiences handling such crises, including how they sought to minimize risks and maximize results in the ensuing litigation.
