Disruptions can place significant strain on power plant operations. AEGIS Contingent Outage coverage helps safeguard members from the financial losses that result when unplanned outages or reduced capacity events occur, providing greater stability and peace of mind in the face of the unexpected.

Coverage Details

Policy limits up to $25 million per generating unit per policy are available.

Coverage available in the NYISO, NEPOOL, PJM, Cal ISO, ERCOT, MISO and SPP regions
Coverage available for all generation types, including conventional power plants (coal, natural gas and oil), nuclear plants and renewables
One-year policy period or summer and winter periods only
Claims settled on Real-Time (RT) – Day Ahead Market (DAM) basis
Simple, straightforward settlement process
