AEGIS Cyber Liability coverage, designed specifically to address the unique cyber exposures for our industry, safeguards members in the event of a cyberattack or security breach. Broad coverage minimizes financial consequences to support continuity of operations.

In response to the evolving threat landscape—including increased nation-state activity and geopolitical risk—AEGIS is expanding its Cyber Liability coverage to affirmatively include cyber war and nation-state attack coverage.

 

As of May 1, 2026, members may elect Affirmative Cyber War coverage for an additional premium. This enhancement provides clarity that covered cyber losses will be responded to regardless of the identity, intent or affiliation of the threat actor, including nation-states.

 

Coverage highlights include:

  • Affirmative coverage for cyber war and nation-state attacks
  • Removes uncertainty related to attribution or intent
  • All-Member Aggregate Limit of $200 million

At AEGIS, mutuality means that our success is shared. Through our AEGIS Member Credit Program, we recognize and reward our Members for their continued participation and support of our mutual model.

Members who purchase Cyber coverage may be eligible for Product and Loyalty Credits upon renewal. Additionally, members engaged in qualifying risk mitigation projects can apply for a Loss Control Credit.
