AEGIS Loss Control is pleased to publish various Quick Tips, Perspectives, and white papers throughout the year. Geared toward members who serve in operations and risk management roles, Quick Tips and white papers highlight the importance of inspection, maintenance, infrastructure, and employee and public safety. Our Perspectives publication shines a spotlight on a particular AEGIS leader and their group’s role within the organization.

Quick Tips: New Training – Electric Incident Investigation for Utility First Responders

Over the past 15 years, AEGIS Loss Control professionals have offered over 80 in-person and, more recently, virtual Electric Incident Investigation Workshops to member companies. These day-and-a-half-long workshops provide AEGIS members with the information they need to properly investigate incidents involving inadvertent or unintentional contact with energized electric utility equipment and overhead lines.
