About the Presenters

John Reid
is a Principal Data Scientist on Exelon's Infrastructure and Safety Analytics team with over 15 years of experience in the electric utility industry. His background spans distribution reliability engineering, grid automation, and interconnection analysis, giving him a practical perspective on how data and analytics can improve utility asset performance, safety, and operational decision-making. John holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.

Tom Mahar is a Manager of Data Science at ComEd, bringing 14 years of experience in the utility industry. His background includes distribution planning engineering and electric distribution system operations, giving him a practical understanding of how data and analytics can improve grid reliability and asset performance. Tom's recent focus has been on leveraging computer vision and geospatial analytics to identify outage risk and damaged equipment. 

Vladyslav Anderson, PE, is a Manager of Data Science at Exelon's Infrastructure and Safety Analytics team, bringing over 13 years of experience in the utility space. His expertise includes capacity planning, load forecasting, distributed energy resource analysis, AI and big data applications for utilities, distribution automation, and operational utility technologies.
