Wind & Solar Loss Control Considerations with Evolving Technology

Wednesday, Jun 04, 2025 | 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT Online

AEGIS Loss Control is pleased to announce its latest webinar, Wind & Solar Loss Control Considerations with Evolving Technology, on Wednesday, June 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

As climate risks become more frequent and severe, resilience has become critical to ensuring reliable performance of solar PV and wind generation projects. We invite you to join us for our latest Loss Control webinar, Wind & Solar Loss Control Considerations with Evolving Technology, where we will explore proactive strategies for preventing property damage to existing components and planned installations using wind and solar technology.

Who Should Attend

Individuals involved in the initial design and scope of work during project development, operations and maintenance of solar PV and wind generations sites including vegetation management, risk management and field supervision. We also welcome anyone interested in learning more about the challenges and solutions in maintenance and operations of PV and wind generation sites.

What is Covered

This webinar uses key lessons from field observations to highlight the importance of proper planning and loss mitigation strategies throughout all phases of solar PV and wind generation projects to reduce the impact of wind, hail, and wildfire incidents.

Presenters will walk participants through:

  • The importance of initial design and specifications for solar photovoltaic (PV) projects as well as maintenance and inspection practices that can help mitigate or eliminate loss potential.
  • Loss drivers and industry challenges facing wind turbine generation projects. The discussions will focus on pinpointing and assessing problem areas and components, as well as implementing effective mitigation strategies.
