AEGIS is pleased to offer a very limited number of seats at the very popular Fire Protection System Training Course which will be held Tuesday through Thursday, October 28 - 30, 2014 in Warren, New Jersey.

This two and a half-day training course provides AEGIS member company staff with both classroom and hands-on instruction on the various types of fire protection systems associated with electric generating stations. In addition to traditional classroom instruction and practical exercises, everyone operates the equipment to gain familiarity with the systems found in most facilities. Participants usually get wet while taking pitot readings and greasy while resetting valves so please dress appropriately. The following sessions are included:

  • Water supplies
  • Fire pumps/controllers
  • Wet pipe sprinklers
  • Dry pipe sprinklers
  • Deluge/preaction sprinklers
  • Water mist systems
  • Detection & actuation systems
  • Alarm systems

The registration fee for the two-day training course is $300 for employees of AEGIS member companies, which covers the cost of the course as well as lunch both days. You will be asked to provide your credit card information during the registration process. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted. The $300 course fee will be charged to your credit card. If you cancel your registration prior to the course, the course fee, minus an administrative fee of $25, will be refunded to your credit card.
