Smart Grid Maturity Model Navigation Series: Survey Workshops

Aug 01 2013

Many public power utilities are working to define an appropriate grid modernization strategy that makes sense for their communities. To facilitate these efforts and promote information sharing among APPA members, APPA is partnering with Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute and SAIC to offer a series of virtual workshops based on the Smart Grid Maturity Model (SGMM). Through a series of online workshops, participants will determine the maturity of their intelligent infrastructure, learn how they compare to other utilities, set targets for intelligent infrastructure implementation, and discuss what it takes to develop and execute an infrastructure roadmap.
