Effects of the Winter Storm in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Region and AEGIS Contingent Outage Presentation

In February, record-setting, sub-freezing temperatures in Texas knocked out almost half of the power generation in the state.  More than 4.5 million homes and businesses in ERCOT’s region were left without power, some for several days.  Marina Nadirova, AEGIS Class Underwriter, provides an overview of the event and highlights how the AEGIS Contingent Outage product can help mitigate the risk of similar events.

The full presentation, Effects of the Winter Storm in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Region, is posted on the website.  For more information, please contact George Keefe, Senior Vice President – Member Relations by e-mail or by phone at 201 508 2797, or Bob Finelli, Vice President – Underwriting via e-mail or by phone at 201 508 2657.
