A Risk-Responsive Approach to Enhancing Public Safety Initiatives

Wednesday, May 07, 2025 | 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT Online

AEGIS Loss Control is pleased to announce its latest webinar, A Risk-Responsive Approach to Enhancing Public Safety Initiatives, on Wednesday, May 7, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

As an industry, we are committed to sharing effective strategies for preventing overhead and underground utility incidents, injuries, and fatalities. We invite you to join us for this important safety webinar in which our expert presenters will provide insights into the evolving landscape of utility public safety, highlighting the role of big data and data science in identifying emerging risks and driving continuous program improvement. Drawing on decades of experience partnering with utilities nationwide, this presentation will outline how to apply technology and best practices to develop and deliver scalable and sustainable public safety programs that meet the needs of your utility.

Who Should Attend

This webinar is essential for all of those who share responsibility for public safety within the utility industry including professionals in Safety & Health, Operations, Compliance, Legal & Claims, Risk and Insurance, and Corporate Communications.

What is Covered

The presenters will outline a framework to help utilities navigate dynamic public safety challenges including political, environmental, social and technological aspects. They will detail key components of effective public safety program design and share collaborative, data-driven initiatives that utilities can participate in and benefit from. Additionally, they will discuss how data capturing and analytics drive industry public safety initiatives and programs. Presenters will demonstrate how to harness the power of data science to benefit utilities, sharing real-life examples of turning data output into actionable information for developing and implementing initiatives, mitigating risk, and driving continuous program improvement.

About the Presenters

Amy Shanahan, MBA, Managing Director of Culver Company and Founder of Culver Insights, provides more than a decade of leadership experience in utility incident prevention, risk assessment and mitigation, public safety awareness communications, and public safety program management.
