Near-Term Wildfire Mitigation Strategies

Wednesday, Apr 02, 2025 | 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT Online

AEGIS Loss Control is pleased to announce its latest webinar, Near-Term Wildfire Mitigation Strategies, on Wednesday, April 2, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT.

With wildfires becoming an increasingly widespread and serious threat, utility companies need to take proactive measures to protect their communities and infrastructure. This informative webinar will provide insights into identifying and assessing wildfire risks, forecasting potential threats, and implementing risk-informed strategies to enhance safety. While comprehensive wildfire mitigation programs continue to evolve and adapt with layers of protection, these near-term strategies can begin to provide a foundation for a utility’s wildfire safety journey.

Who Should Attend

This webinar is geared toward utility leaders charged with assessing wildfire risk and developing mitigation measures.

What is Covered

Participants will gain valuable knowledge on how to operate the electrical grid under high-risk conditions and minimize risks to infrastructure. Highlighting tools and processes needed to help utilities develop near-term, risk-informed wildfire mitigation, this webinar will cover the following topics:

  • • Identifying and understanding wildfire risk
  • • Forecasting, monitoring and responding to wildfire risk

• Operating the grid during high-risk conditions

  • • Reducing electric grid risk
  • • Communications and engagement
