Public Safety Awareness Programs: Measuring Their Impact to Drive Continuous Improvement

Wednesday, Jun 01, 2022 | 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT Online

AEGIS Loss Control is pleased to announce its latest webinar, Public Safety Awareness Programs: Measuring Their Impact to Drive Continuous Improvement, June 1 at 2:00 PM EDT.

Who Should Attend

Utility public safety administrators tasked with developing, executing and evaluating their company’s public safety awareness (PSA) programs.

What is Covered

This webinar focuses on the entire public safety continuum to help utilities learn how they can use primary research to evaluate and refine existing efforts and increase bottom-line results.

Utility public safety administrators are often challenged to understand the success of their company’s public safety awareness (PSA) programs. Relying solely on lagging-indicator data, such as the number of dig-ins occurring in a utility’s service area, offers limited insight into overall program effectiveness. Often missing are the leading indicators of incident prevention, such as awareness of key safety messages and the behavioral shifts that ensue – powerful aspects of the public safety continuum that drive improvement based on data analysis and research. Utilities that focus on improving leading indicators develop a strong foundational public safety program, have a methodology for continuous improvement, and receive the biggest return on their public safety investment.

Presenters will lay out the arc of work that is involved with a public safety program, from development and execution, to evaluation, which ultimately results in data-driven refinement of the program.  They will then discuss how utilities can further validate their programs through the documentation of behavioral changes over time, which demonstrates continuous improvement for regulators and lays the foundation for long-term incident prevention.
