Electrical Safety Training Primer NFPA 70E – What You Need to Know

Wednesday, Jun 06, 2018 | 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Online

This webinar will introduce the new AEGIS NFPA 70E-based Electrical Safety Training Seminar.  The seminar explores the relationship between the voluntary consensus standard NFPA 70E (and other applicable consensus standards) and the mandatory requirements of OSHA regulations.  The combination of voluntary and mandatory practices and procedures enhances employee safety by helping minimize exposure to electrical hazards in the workplace.

The webinar will be presented by Steve Schuette, CESCP, a Senior Machinery Engineer at AEGIS Insurance Services.  Steve is also the NFPA 70E-based Electrical Safety Trainer at AEGIS and holds a Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional designation (CESCP-14-66).  He has more than 30 years of boiler machinery loss control experience in the commercial insurance industry.  Steve is trained in adult education and educational course development and was an Electrical Safety Trainer for his previous employer.   He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a degree in Marine Engineering.
