AEGIS will be offering a limited number of seats for the popular Loss Control Fire Protection Training Class, which will be held Tuesday, October 17, through Thursday, October 19, at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Stillwater.
This joint AEGIS Loss Control/OSU three-day training class is geared toward employees responsible for inspection, testing or maintenance of fire protection systems or for those managing 3rd parties who perform this work. AEGIS member company employees will receive both classroom and hands-on instruction on the various types of fire protection systems associated with power generation and natural gas midstream operations. In addition to traditional classroom instruction and practical exercises, attendees are encouraged to participate in the hands-on training sessions to become familiar with the fire protection/equipment that’s typically used in the power generation and natural gas industry. Casual dress is recommended for the hands-on training sessions.
The following topics will be covered:
The registration fee is $600 for employees of AEGIS member companies, which includes the cost of the three-day training class, a copy of NFPA 25 (Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems code book), the AEGIS-sponsored group dinner, as well as lunch each day. You will be asked to provide your credit card information during the registration process. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted.
