All tours on Wednesday, as well as Thursday morning tours, are open to guests and families only. Conference attendees are expected to attend the general session and the breakout sessions. Conference attendees are welcome to join their guests and families on the Thursday afternoon tours.
All tours will gather at the Tower Lobby. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking tours and dress appropriately for the weather and type of tour.
Pikes Peak Cog Railway
Wednesday, July 13 | 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Climb through four different climate zones on your way to the 14,115-foot summit of Pikes Peak on the world’s highest cog railroad. At the top, you’ll spend 30 to 40 minutes exploring and taking photos of the stunning vistas. Guests are encouraged to dress in layers, as there can be up to a 40-degree temperature swing from the base to the summit.

Red Rocks Hike and Amphitheater Tour

Take a guided tour of the Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, an unparalleled symbol of nature’s majesty. This geologically formed open-air amphitheater consists of two 300-foot monoliths that provide acoustic perfection for any performance. Note: Hikers must be at least 5 years old. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes for the hike and tour.

Whitewater Rafting

Beginner to advanced rafters will delight in riding the rapids down Clear Creek in the heart of Colorado’s gold mining towns. Note: Rafters must be at least 7 years old and over 45 inches tall. Guests will be provided with an overall-style wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet and neoprene booties. Guests are encouraged to wear a bathing suit and/or some other kind of quick-dry clothing.
