Excess Workers' Compensation

The excess workers’ compensation policy is specifically written to cover the perils of qualified self-insureds.

We provide indemnity for workers’ compensation benefits up to the policy limit.

The maximum policy limit available is $35 million bodily injury each accident or each employee for disease in excess of a self-insured retention. Terrorism may be added to this coverage by endorsement.

AEGIS can coordinate $65 million excess of our $35 million limit through our alliance with Everest National Insurance. Under acceptable circumstances, statutory limits excess of our $35 million can be provided.

The minimum self-insured retention is $200,000 bodily injury each accident or each employee for disease.

Coverage is written on an occurrence basis.

AEGIS will indemnify the insured for ultimate net loss up to the limit stated in the policy declarations.

AEGIS can also coordinate primary workers’ compensation, where required, through its alliance with Everest National Insurance.
