Thomas M. Patrick Joins AEGIS Board of Directors

We’re delighted to welcome Thomas M. Patrick, Chairman, President & CEO of Peoples Energy Corporation, to the AEGIS Board of Directors. Peoples is a diversified energy company with businesses in gas distribution, power generation, midstream services, oil and gas production and retail energy services. Based in Chicago, Peoples has been an AEGIS member company since our founding in 1975. We look forward to receiving Tom’s insights as our newest director.

2003 Policyholders' Conference - Vancouver, B.C.

Preparations are well underway for the 2003 AEGIS Policyholders’ Conference , which will be held from Tuesday, July 29 through Thursday, July 31 at The Westin Bayshore Resort and Marina in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Registration materials will be distributed in early May.

Conference registration is complimentary and attendees are invited to bring guests. As with past Conferences, AEGIS will reimburse one representative from each member company for the cost of three nights lodging. Brokers must be attached to a current AEGIS member policy in order to attend. If you have any questions, please contact Carrie White .

Some people have expressed interest in visiting Whistler in conjunction with the trip and we have secured a special rate there. If you are interested, contact Carrie White.


Claims Events - "Managing Major Property Losses" and "Major Gas & Electric Incidents"

We’re hosting a special property claims event, “Managing Major Property Losses,” in the AEGIS Jersey City office on May 15. A distinguished panel of risk managers, brokers, adjusters and claims professionals will focus on real-world issues and best practices related to managing catastrophic property claims. The second topic in this year’s Roundtable series, “Major Gas & Electric Incidents,” will be presented again on April 24 in Washington, D.C. at the offices of Drinker, Biddle & Reath, 1500 K Street, N.W., Suite 1100.
