The 2018 AEGIS Claims Seminar will be held Monday, October 15 through Wednesday, October 17, at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego, California.
Registration will open shortly. In the meantime, please do not contact the hotel to make room reservations. We are holding a block of rooms for all seminar attendees and they can be reserved as part of the seminar registration process.
In 2016, the AEGIS Claims Seminar attracted more than 150 claims and litigation professionals from around the country who gathered to share their experiences and learn more about the important issues facing AEGIS members in the defense of their claims. In addition to the always popular natural gas and electric case studies, an impressive group of industry litigators and experts will share their insights on a wide variety of topics, including NTSB investigations, stray voltage, adequacy of warnings, tariff defenses, investigating burn injuries, and cybersecurity. Please review the agenda for details.
The seminar will be eligible for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.
The seminar begins with registration on Monday morning, October 15, followed by lunch and the beginning of the program. Tuesday's program will run the full day and AEGIS will host a reception on Tuesday evening at the Marriott Marquis. The program ends at noon on Wednesday, October 17. Breakfast and lunch are included on Tuesday and Wednesday.
For those interested in playing golf, the AEGIS Structured Settlements Company (TASSC), in conjunction with its alliance partners at Arcadia Settlements Group and Alliant/Mesirow Structured Settlements, will host an outing on Wednesday afternoon.
Dress for the Claims Seminar is business casual.
