This webinar will focus on liquid natural gas (LNG) plant security operations and it will help you answer the question “Is it safe?”  The webinar will cover the impact of regulations on LNG plant operations, the importance of physical security highlighting types of physical plant security, the importance of developing relationships with law enforcement officials and local first responders, and the use of drills and exercises to train plant personnel who are involved in LNG operations.  

The webinar will be presented by Lou Blancato, Manager – Corporate Security at Dominion Resources where he is responsible for the Cove Point Liquefied Natural Gas Facility in Lusby, Maryland. Prior to this assignment, Lou was the Supervisor – Security Compliance with responsibility for security at all the company’s natural gas storage facilities.  Additionally, Lou served 25 years with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. and he attended American University in Washington, D.C.
