This webinar will present an overview of the difficulties facing electric utilities today regarding the issue of timely transfer of attaching utility facilities to replaced poles. The webinar will also review some of the efforts and solutions electric utilities have made to address this issue.
Chris Benefield, Operations Manager of NJUNS, Inc., the National Joint Utilities Notification System, will be the speaker for the webinar. NJUNS is a consortium of utility companies created for the purpose of providing “efficient utility communication”. NJUNS provides software as a service that allows its members to communicate and track field workflow regarding joint utility ventures, including joint pole administration. Since 1997, NJUNS has continuously improved its communication system and its use has spread across the country to 25 states and over 10,000 users.
