Operating an electric power generator produces large amounts of heat that must be removed to maintain efficiency. Air, water and oil have all been used for cooling, but hydrogen’s low density, high specific heat and thermal conductivity make it a logical choice for this application. The problem is, hydrogen is highly flammable and can be dangerous when mixed with air.
This webinar will help the Power Plant owner to assess a plants hydrogen system from bulk storage through end use. The webinar will assist in identifying potential gaps that may create hazardous conditions in the existing systems as well as offer guidance on how to strengthen risk reduction measures for the use of hydrogen in power generation facilities.
