Ian Green
Head of Onshore Energy
Ian has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry as both an underwriter with HSB, Cox and AIG, and as a broker with Marsh and Aon. In 2007, Ian joined AEGIS London from ACE Global Markets, where he was a Senior Power Underwriter. Ian also has a degree in mechanical engineering.
David Bainbridge
Chief Engineer
David has over 20 years of experience in the public and private power industry
sectors including 16 years of insurance industry experience in various roles
associated with energy industry and manufacturing industry risk evaluation
and loss prevention. David has fossil fuel fired, gas turbine, hydro and
nuclear power plant experience together with utility corporate experience.
He has also acted as a consultant to power companies. David joined AEGIS
London in 2007 and is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution
of Engineering and Technology.
Carl Bennett
Underwriter
Carl has worked in the London market for more than 15 years both within Lloyd’s and company environments. He has gained relevant experience within both the underwriting and broking communities whilst concentrating on engineering classes incorporating the construction and operations of power stations on a global basis. Carl joined AEGIS London in 2007.
Neville Drew
Underwriter
Neville started his career in the onshore energy division at AIG Europe before
moving to Aon Limited where he spent ten years as an account manager for
global energy and power clients. He joined the AEGIS London onshore energy
team in 2009 as a power and utilities underwriter and has over 15 years of experience
in the insurance industry.
Beatrice Ogazi
Underwriting Administrator
Beatrice started her insurance career with HSB Engineering Insurance in 1994 where she was a Senior Underwriting Assistant. During her tenure there she specialized in large worldwide risks including power generation and industrial projects in countries such as Spain and Australia. Beatrice joined the AEGIS London Utility Property team in 2011 as an Underwriting Administrator.
