Matthew Yeldham
Head of Casualty


Matt started his insurance career with I C Agnew & Others and in 1998 became Divisional Liability underwriter for Wellington Syndicate 2020. In 2001, Matt joined the Wellington Underwriting Executive and Board of Wellington Underwriting Agencies Ltd as Director responsible for all casualty and marine underwriting and, in 2006, he became Deputy CUO of Wellington and then Deputy Active underwriter of Catlin Syndicate 2003 following the Catlin Group's acquisition of Wellington. Matt joined Aspen in 2007 as Head of International Insurance and as a member of the Group Executive Committee. In 2008 he became Active underwriter of Aspen's newly formed Syndicate 4711. Matt joined AEGIS London in 2010 as Head of Casualty and a Director of AEGIS Managing Agency Ltd.

Stella Tomlin
Class Underwriter


Stella began her career at Sedgwick gaining experience across all aspects of marine and cargo insurance. She joined AEGIS London in 2000 and is responsible for marine liability underwriting. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and a member of the Joint Liability Committee.

Tom Squires
Underwriter


Tom started his insurance career with the P&I reinsurance team at Jardine Lloyd Thompson before joining Markel Syndicate 3000 to write marine and energy liability. In 2007, Tom joined AEGIS London as a Marine and Offshore Energy Underwriter and is responsible for the offshore energy liability underwriting. Tom also assists Matt Yeldham with the underwriting of the US general liability business. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

Eniola Bernard
Underwriter


Eniola graduated from Law and has 8 years experience in the insurance industry. She joined AEGIS London in 2003, specialising in marine liability business.

Sophie Ezadkhasty
Underwriting Assistant


Sophie recently began her insurance career after graduating from Cass Business School, City University London in 2009. She is a member of the Casualty Team and is working across the marine and non-marine classes. She is studying with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
