Sophie started her insurance career in 2001 and joined AEGIS London in 2011 from Markel Syndicate 3000. Prior to that she worked at Talbot Syndicate 1183 (before Markel acquired the livestock account), Wellington Syndicate 2020 and Crowe Livestock. Sophie has a degree in Animal Science and a Masters degree in Business Management for the Food and Agricultural Industries along with practical knowledge and experience in the welfare, husbandry and management of livestock and the risks surrounding their production, breeding or exhibition with a specific focus on livestock disease.
